How It Works

The school configures its preferred payment gateway (Paystack, Flutterwave, or another supported provider) in the RedeemOS Finance settings by entering its API credentials.

Fee invoices are generated automatically for all students at the start of each term. Each invoice includes a "Pay Online" link.

The link is delivered to parents via SMS, email, or through the Parent Portal. Parents click the link, select their payment method, and complete the transaction.

The payment gateway processes the transaction and sends a real-time webhook notification to RedeemOS confirming the payment.

RedeemOS matches the payment to the student's account using the invoice reference, updates the fee balance, marks the invoice as paid, and sends a receipt to the parent.

All online payments are visible in the Finance dashboard alongside cash and mobile money records, providing a complete, multi-channel payment picture.
