School Management System for Uganda Schools

National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) · Over 10 million learners enrolled across 18,000+ primary and secondary schools

Overview

Uganda's education system is structured around the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) framework, covering seven years of Primary (P1–P7), six years of Secondary (S1–S6 split into O-Level S1–S4 and A-Level S5–S6), and tertiary education. The Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) is sat at P7, the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) at S4, and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) at S6. All three examinations are administered by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB). Uganda Boasts a rapidly growing private school sector, particularly in Kampala and secondary towns, with many schools charging term fees. MTN and Airtel Mobile Money are the dominant payment channels for parents. RedeemOS supports Uganda's examination structures and mobile money infrastructure, making school digitalisation practical without on-premise server investment.
