The Solution

RedeemOS's AI features are embedded in the tools teachers and administrators already use daily. The AI Remarks tool drafts personalised report card comments for each student based on their grades and attendance, saving each teacher 3–5 hours per term. The AI Analytics module provides natural-language insight into school performance data — administrators ask questions in plain language and receive data-driven answers. The AI Assistant helps school leaders draft parent communications, policy documents, and board reports. These features are activated with a single click and require no setup beyond the data already in the system.

Implementation Steps

   Ensure grade and attendance data is up to date

   AI features draw on the student data already in RedeemOS. Before using AI Remarks, ensure all grade entries for the current term are complete and attendance records are current.

   Generate AI report card remarks

   In the Report Cards module, click "Generate AI Remarks" for a class. The AI drafts a personalised remark for each student based on their subject grades, class position, attendance, and performance trend. Teachers review and edit each remark before approving.

   Configure the AI provider

   RedeemOS supports multiple AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and others). The school's administrator selects and configures the preferred AI provider in the AI Settings, which typically requires entering an API key.

   Explore the Analytics AI assistant

   School administrators ask the Analytics module's AI assistant questions in plain language — "Show me the five students with the lowest attendance in Form 2", "Which subject has the most students below 50%?" — and receive instant data-backed responses.

   Use AI for communication drafting

   The AI Communication Assistant helps administrators draft parent letters, term summaries, and policy documents. The administrator describes what the communication should cover, and the AI drafts a professional version that can be edited before sending.
